Crystal Ski is launching its 2011/12 brochure today with winter sports holidays to three continents, 13 countries and 148 ski resorts. New in this winter’s brochure are holidays to Sochi in Russia, the venue for the Winter Olympic Games 2014 as well as two resorts in Finland, eight new resorts in Austria, three in Italy and one each in Slovenia and USA.
We have also added more than 80 hotels, six chalets, 15 flight routes as well as new programmes including: Crystal Ski+ extra, Crystal Riders’ Lodge and Crystal Adaptive to offer a wider choice and increase customer value for money.
With two winters to go before the Olympics the first resorts in the Sochi ski area are nearing completion. The ski lifts under construction promise several that will be among the biggest, fastest and best in the world. Sochi is set to become one of the world’s leading ski destinations for the 21st century.
Finland is back in the brochure by popular demand featuring Iso-Syöte and Ruka, both ideal resorts to learn any winter sport and to experience activities including dog-sledding, snowmobile and reindeer safaris. We also offer Lapland Activity weeks and Santa Adventure weeks in both resorts.
Special launch offer for Winter 2011/12:
► 2 for 1 lift pass* for all holidays to Switzerland saving up to £280 and more offers to follow soon. *Book by 10 September 2011
Crystal’s MD Simon Cross said: “Crystal already offers the largest choice of ski holidays, but we are determined to keep improving our range of holidays for all types of skiers. This has led us to introduce 16 new resorts, three new programmes, an even wider range of regional flight options and ski holidays to Russia to cater for our loyal and increasingly adventurous holidaymakers.”
Crystal Ski+ extra combines the great value Crystal Ski+ package (flights, transfers, accommodation, lift pass, ski or snowboard hire) with a €35 hotel drinks and a €96 packed lunch voucher. Prices from £725 for a week at the Hotel Viking in Morzine departing on 17 March 2012. Also available at the Hotel Diva in Tignes and the Hotel Terra Nova in La Plagne and is available all season.
The new Crystal Adaptive programme: accessible ski holidays for people with disabilities which offers a selected range of resorts and accommodation across Europe and the USA. We’re working with the charity Disability Snowsport UK, selected adaptive ski schools, which provide specialist tuition and equipment for both beginners and advanced skiers, and selected appropriate hotels.
Our new Crystal Riders’ Lodges in Tignes and Val Thorens provide accommodation with a difference: traditional log fires, modern ski-themed art on the walls, X-Box 360, loads of games, stack of snowsport DVDs and walkie-talkies to stay in touch.
Each of our lodges will have their very own Snow Guru – an expert on all things snow and social. And the meals will be different too: a hearty breakfast and energy-packed evening meals will mean you are good-to-go before you hit the slopes or a night out in resort. And as well as tea and cake we offer nachos and beer.
