Launched today, the new Crystal Summer 2013 preview brochure continues to build on the success of the beach destinations introduced for 2012 including Greece, Croatia, Spain, Portugal and Italy in addition to the traditional European lakes regions.
Customer research shows that Crystal’s new approach of accommodation in smaller, boutique hotels, villas and apartments with a range of board options allowing customers the freedom to be spontaneous, to explore and choose for themselves how they spend their time and money, has proven to be successful.
Resorts which have booked particularly well are: Es Port Hotel in Puerto de Sóller on Majorca, Taormina and Giardini Naxos on Sicily and the beach destinations of Porto Cervo, Baia Sardinia and Cannigione on the ‘Emerald Coast’ in Sardinia.
The trend to book Finest hotels and apartments continues and the ‘best-sellers’ of the luxury range in prime locations with excellent restaurants and first-rate service are:
Hotel Tirolerhof in Zell am See, Lake Zell, Austria
Hotel Excelsior Le Terrazze in Garda, Lake Garda, Italy
Hotel Monte Rosa in Zermatt, Switzerland
Grand Hotel Toplice in Bled, Lake Bled, Slovenia
Crystal Ski has engaged successfully with its customers via the social media networks for a few years now and has most recently introduced a Crystal Summer page on Facebook. Since its launch a few weeks ago, the page has received over 7,500 ‘likes’. Growing quickly, the page is proving a popular way to stay up-to-date with all the news from the 90 destinations Crystal Summer features.
The page reports on local events, special offers and quirky facts from across Europe, as well as being a place to get all holiday questions answered by the Crystal team in the UK and abroad.
With over 1000 staff overseas, Crystal was one of the first travel companies to have their overseas teams using social media, providing a range of content for communication with customers. Crystal Summer’s unique online info-pack for all customers is updated by those teams regularly who also provide updates for many of the featured resorts through nearly 40 Twitter accounts.
Prices start at £365 for seven nights’ self catering accommodation at the three-star Doria Apartments in Garda on Lake Garda, Italy, departing on 1 May 2013 from Gatwick inclusive of transfers.
