Honouring the best in the world of skiing and snowboarding, the awards, announced on Friday 2 November during the annual Ski and Snowboard Show in Earls Court in London, rewarded resorts, companies and individuals in 25 categories with the winners chosen by a panel of leading ski and snowboard experts and public vote.
Categories included the best European resort, North American resort, ski and snowboard brands, airline, and specialist and mainstream tour operators as well as ski and snowboard brands.
The ceremony was hosted by the comedian, actor and satirist, Marcus Brigstocke, who is also a keen snowboarder.
Crystal Ski walked away with the prize of the best mainstream UK tour operator for its innovative pricing, its initiatives to get beginner skiers and snowboarders on to the slopes as well as events like the Crystal Ski Fest and its partnership with Disability Snowsport UK.
There was some surprise that Livigno in Italy was voted the best European resort ahead of more well-known ones like Courchevel, and Fernie proved to be a popular choice beating off competition from Whistler.
The best specialist operator was Ski Independence while Ski Solutions won specialist agent category.
Switzerland won several awards: Zermatt as best après ski resort, Swiss as best airline and Geneva as best airport.
