Doubled the number of seats
Flights to Denver, Calgary and Vancouver
Flexible choice of up to five departure and arrival days per week
Crystal will this winter offer even more choice for ski holidays to North America with flights to Denver (USA), Calgary and Vancouver (Canada) from Heathrow with connecting flights from the main UK regional airports. Customers will have double the number of seats available and also be able to choose from five flight departures per week.
With a lead-in price to North America of £299 per person for 7 nights in the 3 star Bow View Lodge in Banff, Canada, Crystal makes North American ski destinations definitely affordable.
Crystal is increasing its routes to European ski destinations with new charter flights from Bournemouth and Doncaster/Sheffield to Chambery (France), Manchester to Ljubljana (Slovenia); Doncaster/Sheffield to Salzburg (Austria), Edinburgh and Stansted to Sion and Bern (Switzerland), East Midlands to Innsbruck (Austria), Gatwick and Manchester to Kittila (Finland).
With Crystal you not only have more destinations to fly to, you also have more UK departure airports from which to choose. Which means you can go to wherever you want from wherever you want.
Ever keen to pioneer new ski destinations, this winter Crystal is introducing two new Austrian resorts Serfaus and Zell am Ziller. Serfaus in the Tirol is an excellent yet little-known ski area with 180km of piste and has luxurious hotels and superb facilities for families and children. Located in the same valley as Mayrhofen, Zell am Ziller has direct access to 160km of piste in the combined ski area of Zell am Ziller & Gerlos. But the lift pass also includes the ski area of Mayrhofen, the 3250 metres Hintertux Glacier with its 365 days a year guaranteed skiing and the Hochzillertal ski area – in total over 450km of piste with all areas linked by ski buses and the valley’s train.
Two new resorts in Finland, Levi and Ylläs, are ideal for families and winter activities include ice fishing, husky and reindeer safaris, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, walking and trips to see Santa. Crystal has direct flights from Gatwick and Manchester to Kittila.
In France the new addition of Chamrousse is just 40 minutes from Grenoble making it one of the most accessible resorts in the Alps. Built originally for the Winter Olympics, it offers a good variety of slopes, tree lined runs and a FREE lift pass is included all season. Prices start from £249 in the 3 star Chamrousse Apartments with return flights, transfers and 6 day lift pass.
The typically Italian resort of Cavalese in the Val di Fiemme ski area is a great choice for beginners and families and we offer it as an all-inclusive resort. The ski area of Alpi di Cermis has north-facing slopes meaning Cavalese has also an excellent snow record.
The new Swiss resort is Nendaz in the heart of the 4-Valley ski area with quick and easy access to the Mont-Fort and Verbier ski areas. The relaxed village atmosphere and plenty of non-skiing activities makes this a good choice for mixed ability groups and families.
Gareth Crump, Crystal’s product and marketing director said: “To celebrate the launch of Crystal’s biggest ever ski brochure, we are delighted to offer 2 for 1 lift passes for bookings made before 31 July 2007 on seven night holidays to all European ski resorts departing during December ’07 and January ’08 including Christmas and New Year. But this is not all: we are also extending our ‘Snow Guarantee’ offer*: at least half of your resort’s skiing will be open during your holiday or we will give you half your money back.”
* Snow Guarantee offer: terms & conditions apply
