Disability Snowsport UK is delighted to announce that The ParaSnowBall 2016 will be sponsored by long term partners of the charity, Crystal Ski Holidays and Salomon. Following the success of the inaugural ParaSnowBall in 2015, this black tie event will help to raise vital funds to support Disability Snowsport UK as well as celebrating ParaSnowsport athletes at all levels. The charity’s aim is to enable anyone with a disability to experience the joy and thrill of snowsports.
The event will be hosted by John Inverdale and supported by Pippa Middleton, who will be attending the event for the second time. The ball will take place on Thursday 28th April 2016 at London’s The Hurlingham Club, SW6. The guests attending can expect an ice cold evening of dazzling winter sport, fine dining and sparkling entertainment in the company of Paralympic champions.
Tamsin Todd, Crystal Ski Holidays Managing Director, commented: ‘At Crystal Ski Holidays we are passionate about supporting Disability Snowsport UK. Each year, more than 90% of our employees take part in fundraising and DSUK overseas Activity Weeks, assisting this wonderful charity in their mission of helping everyone, no matter what their disability, experience snowsport and the mountains we all love.’
Paul Griffiths, Salomon Brand Manager, commented: ‘Salomon are delighted to partner with Disability Snowsport UK, supporting the ParaSnowBall as we believe all athletes should have the opportunity to expand their playground on the mountain.’
Fiona Young, Disability Snowsport UK CEO, commented: ‘I would like to thank both companies once again for your continued support. Crystal Ski Holidays help run our Activity Weeks and their staff are constantly raising huge amounts for the charity, without which we would be unable to survive. In the same vein, Salomon have supported Disability Snowsport UK from the very start through equipment provision, fundraising and donations which are all key to our survival.’
