First heavy snowfall in the north of the British Isles today reminds us that winter is most definitely on the way and the forecasters predicting more snow fall in the Alps in the coming week. The Pyrenees also had quite the downfall of the lovely white stuff and the ski resorts in North America are getting ready for Thanksgiving Day celebrations on November 28.

This week-long event from 22-29 March is a festival of skiing, as the name suggests, and is perfect if you want a chance to socialise and make new friends whilst skiing and spending lots of time on the slopes with like-minded people.
